Depending on the customer, you may work on a remodeling project to update an existing home or start scratch to create a custom interior design for a residential or commercial space. Our ideal candidate knows the intricacies of bath and kitchen design projects. Having previous design experience, experience in sales, and working in a showroom is preferable. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.</li><li>Assist in creating detailed kitchen designs using design software.</li><li>Provide inside sales support by answering customer inquiries and processing orders, both in person and over the phone.</li><li>Arrange and help coordinate a timely delivery of materials.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project progress.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice.</li><li>Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional events and activities.</li><li>Work with contractors to build out the design.</li><li>Keep customers and contractors up to date and informed regarding any plan changes or delays in progress.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Experience in kitchen design or a related field preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in design software and tools. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and design principles.</li><li>Sales experience is a plus, with a focus on customer satisfaction.</li><li>Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.</li><li>Ability to work flexible work hours based on comfortable needs. </li><li>Knowledge of millwork and construction preferred.</li></ul>Join a family-owned business that takes pride in being a stable employer for over 50 years.
