Laboratory Requirements: · Effectively operates facility laboratory information system (LIS), · Disposes of biohazardous materials,Receive and sort laboratory samples for testing, · Perform QA/QC testing for all required test systems, · Performs routine instrument maintenance, · Perform all routine and specialized patient sample testing, · Prepare and organize testing reagents for all analyzers, · Maintain accurate files for analyzer QC and patient results, · Follows all PPE requirements and safety regulations. POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for day to day operations/patient testing in the lab, which includes, but not limited to: patient sample testing, quality control testing, test performance and verification, corrective action, proficiency testing, quality assurance monitoring, resolving of technical problems as well as instrument performance.
