Performs a variety of Milk Lab duties, including but not limited to reconstitution and fortification of specialized formula, centrifugation and analysis of human milk lipid concentration and caloric density, human milk pasteurization, human milk and formula delivery, medical food and product inventory management, utilization of electronic health record and milk management software, interdisciplinary communication with nursing, Registered Dietitians, medical providers, Dietetic Technicians, and Lactation Consultants. Demonstrates high level of professionalism and problem-solving abilities related to ensuring order in the electronic health record is accurate, feeding supply is adequate with special attention to procedures, tolerance and advancements, timeliness of production schedule, and advocates for breast milk management that prevents waste.
