Collaboration fuels our innovation and drives our success. </li><li>Empowering Success: We believe in empowering our team members to reach new heights, fostering a culture of growth and achievement. </li><li>Nurturing Growth: Personal and professional growth isn't just encouraged; it's nurtured, supported, and celebrated. </li></ul> Work Hours: <ul><li>Monday – Thursday 7pm - 12am</li><li>Saturday 7pm-11pm</li></ul> Position Overview:   <ul><li>Specimen Preparation and Packaging: Properly prepare and package specimens for pickup.</li><li>Testing and Analysis</li><li>Perform pregnancy testing: Perform urine testing.</li><li>Provide timely analysis of specimens (bodily fluids, blood, urine, etc.).</li><li>Quality Assurance: Keep the Laboratory Supervisor informed to ensure that appropriate remedial action is taken whenever a test system deviates from the laboratory's performance specifications.</li><li>Assure that patient test results are reported efficiently.</li><li>Monitor test analyses and specimen examination to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.</li><li>Data Entry: Enter specimen analysis and results in a patient's electronic health record.</li><li>Specimen Collection: Collect specimens as outlined in the patient's medical requisition after appointments.</li><li>Know how to find out what send out labs are needed.</li><li>Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform duties as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or Practice Manager.</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications:   <ul><li>New York State Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician License required</li><li>Must have a strong ability to work independently as well as an effective team member</li><li>Must display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively relate to all medical staff</li><li>Must have excellent ability to analyze test results, computer generated reports, etc., including superior follow up skills and attention to detail</li><li>Must have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and remain flexible in adjusting to changing conditions within the clinical/laboratory operations</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:  <ul><li>Clinical Laboratory experience is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of EHR or EMR strongly preferred</li></ul> Pay & Benefits:  <ul><li>$30 per hour, commensurate with experience.  </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off and Sick Time, ensuring you have the flexibility to recharge and rejuvenate. </li><li>403(b) Retirement Plan, setting you up for a secure future. </li><li>Short-term and Long-term disability </li></ul></div></header><h1 class="heading_Heading__BqX5J heading_Level1__soLZs" id="jd-job-title-1008942780509"></h1></div></header>

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Molecular Laboratory Director to lead and oversee our molecular diagnostics laboratory operations.

<h2> Molecular Laboratory Director (NGS Focus)</h2> Location: Milford, PA (Onsite with some flexibility; must reside within commuting distance)<h3> Position Overview</h3> We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Molecular Laboratory Director to lead and oversee our molecular diagnostics laboratory operations. This role requires deep expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and compliance with regulatory standards, including New York State requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with leadership capabilities to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely testing services.<hr/><h3> Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li> Provide overall leadership and direction for the molecular laboratory, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance</li><li> Oversee and validate NGS-based genetic testing workflows, including assay development, validation, and implementation</li><li> Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, NYS DOH, and other applicable regulatory and accreditation standards</li><li> Serve as the Laboratory Director of record for molecular pathology testing, including test sign-out where applicable</li><li> Develop, review, and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control, and quality assurance programs</li><li> Monitor laboratory performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives</li><li> Provide scientific and technical guidance to laboratory staff, including training and competency assessments</li><li> Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, R&D, operations) to expand and enhance testing capabilities</li><li> Stay current with advancements in molecular diagnostics, genomics, and regulatory requirements</li><li> Ensure proper documentation and readiness for audits and inspections</li></ul><hr/><h3> Qualifications & Requirements</h3><ul><li> PhD, MD, or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Pathology, or a related field</li><li> Board certification in Molecular Pathology (e.g., ABMGG, ABP, or equivalent)</li><li> Active New York State (NYS) laboratory license in Molecular Pathology (required)</li><li> Demonstrated experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies and clinical genetic testing</li><li> Prior experience serving in or qualifying for a Laboratory Director role under CLIA/CAP regulations</li><li> Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, NYS DOH)</li><li> Proven leadership experience managing laboratory teams and operations</li><li> Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li></ul>
