Collect venous and capillary blood samples for Transfusion Service, Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology, from inpatients and outpatients of the patient population served by the hospital upon request or as assigned, performing accurate patient identification, requisition verification, specimen labeling, specimen handling and disposal of contaminated waste and sharps.
