This individual will be accountable to methods and instrument performance, quality control and result reporting, problem resolution, new method and instrument evaluation, research, development, planning and implementation, quality control statistics, technical studies, technical education of staff, and other duties as assigned under the Transfusion Services discipline. Must be registered by the American Society of Laboratory Science as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
