p>POSITION: Grounds III LOCATION: Facility Services SALARY: Pay Grade 63 TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time - 12 months REPORTS TO: Grounds Supervisor/ Foreman JOB GOAL: To develop and maintain school grounds, athletic fields, and drainage systems in a manner that will enhance the public image of schools and the instructional environment DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, a 2 man crew. Conditions and prepares soils and transplants or plants seeds, seedings or bulbs according to instructions and planned design of landscaped area Experience with heavy equipment (track loader, mini excavator, front end loader) preferred Drives trucks and transports tractor and ground maintenance equipment Makes minor repairs to mowers and other equipment.
