<p>JOB TITLE: Laser Machine Operator</p><p>SUPERVISED BY: Laser Supervisor/Warehouse Superintendent</p><br/><p><u>POSITION SUMMARY:</u></p><p style="text-align:justify">Provides the set up, operation and maintenance of Laser cutting machines. Plans for the efficient operation of the laser and works with the Laser Programmer to coordinate the laser production in an efficient manner. Ability to fulfill general Warehouse and Processor duties as assigned or needed. </p><br/><p><u>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </u></p><table style="border-collapse:collapse"><tbody><tr><td style="width:27.35pt;padding:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt"/><td style="width:436.3pt;padding:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt"><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li>Measure stock length with laser device.<br/><br/></li><li>Load and unload material from machine.<br/><br/></li><li>Clean lens, align and change nozzle.<br/><br/></li><li>Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.<br/><br/></li><li>Load, edit and delete programs.<br/><br/></li><li>Measure parts with tape, calipers, mics, radius gauges, square and protractor.<br/><br/></li><li>Read prints or digital files to insure part conforms to customer's design.<br/><br/></li><li>Adjust parameters to insure optimal cut quality.<br/><br/></li><li>Properly identify and process paperwork necessary for material handling and production recording in metalware.<br/><br/></li><li>Properly & accurately fill out inspection and daily Laser log.<br/><br/></li><li>General maintenance and cleaning of Laser as assigned.<br/><br/></li><li>Put away all drops daily.<br/></li><li>Maintain a safe and efficient work area.<br/><br/></li><li>Good attendance is an essential function of this job.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><br/><p><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</u></p><p style="text-align:justify">High School Diploma or GED.</p><p style="text-align:justify">3D Machine Operator's Experience Preferred.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Laser Experience Preferred.</p><br/><p><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</u></p><p style="text-align:justify">Computer literate.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Laser cutting experience.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Ability to read blueprints.</p>
