This role requires the following physical activities: talking, hearing and visual acuity, sitting, walking (on uneven, wet, or snowy/icy locations), running, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, tolerate extremes in weather conditions, physically restrain combative persons, finger dexterity, ability to see full spectrum of color, able to remove an adult-sized person from a location and move that person to safety, and able to lift up to 50 pounds with no assistance. Security Officers may be responsible for Front Desk Operations including, but not limited to; monitoring access to main building, registering guests through a visitor management system, monitoring CCTV camera system, answering telephone switchboard system, monitoring alarm systems, and relaying calls for service to other Patrol Officers.
