NewLegal Assistance Developer (P/T) Virginia Department of Human Resource ManagementLegal Assistance Developer (P/T)Henrico, VAThe role builds strong partnerships with statewide stakeholders, including Area Agencies on Aging, legal service providers, the long-term care ombudsman, elder justice agencies, and adult protective services, to coordinate training, technical assistance, resources, and oversight of legal assistance that protects the rights of older and vulnerable Virginians. Knowledge:Working knowledge of legal issues affecting older and vulnerable adults (housing, Medicaid, benefits, guardianship, etc.) Working knowledge of aging services networks, including AAAs, legal aid, ombudsman, APS, and elder justice partners.
