Overview:
Oak View Group is seeking a creative, dynamic Digital Marketing Coordinator with marketing and communications experience to help drive strategic vision and implementation of digital marketing strategy for the Iowa Events Center, which includes Casey’s Center. The preferred candidate is a motivated team member who can work with members of the marketing team to drive innovation, data-driven decisions, and digital marketing initiatives. This position will report to the Marketing Manager and be an integral part of promoting the Iowa Events Center as a destination for meetings and events while working with promoters to drive ticket sales and attendance for Casey’s Center events. This role pays an hourly rate of $21.60-$22.60 For Full-Time roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until July 10th, 2026.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs across all social media platforms for Iowa Events Center and Casey’s Center brands (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc)</li><li>Understand and analyze engagement and sales data with the purpose of implementing tactics to grow metrics for existing and new platforms.</li><li>Research customer engagement trends and best practices. </li><li>Collaborate with Ad Sales, Premium Seating, Marketing and Sales departments on their revenue and engagement initiatives to maximize ROI for the Iowa Events Center.</li><li>Create and support content calendars to support upcoming events, venue projects, and community engagement.</li><li>Support innovation regarding the Iowa Evens Center’s digital marketing strategy, inclusive of social media, podcasts, database marketing, video, and website presence.</li><li>Assist with event day activities, providing real-time content across multiple social media platforms.</li><li>Produce content for social media channels, including video, photography, graphics and text.</li><li>Maintain adherence to facility branding guidelines in all activities in verbal and written communications and graphics.</li><li>Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions for upcoming events and projects.</li><li>Assist our Database Marketing Coordinator with email and text marketing initiatives.</li><li>Answer customer service questions that come into our platforms.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Business Administration or another related field.</li><li>Experience in digital marketing, preferably with a concert venue or sports arena or other hospitality related position preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of marketing and advertising/sponsorship program development.</li><li>Strong understanding of social media, web-based advertising, CRM, and website maintenance.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, graphic design, PowerPoint and Internet software.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to formulate creative and original promotional ideas.</li><li>Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. </li><li>Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills</li><li>Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays and extended numbers of days.</li></ul>

You will partner most closely with the CEO, Chief Medical Officer, and the broader Marketing organization, while also collaborating with Commercial, Client Success, Clinical, and Product teams to ensure our external story reflects our business priorities and member impact. You will also lead and manage our external PR agency, setting clear direction, ensuring tight alignment with our narrative strategy, and holding the team to a high bar for results. Minimum Qualifications: <ul><li>15+ years of communications / PR experience, including significant time in digital health, virtual care, or healthcare technology.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading PR and communications for mission-driven, high-growth companies, ideally at growth stages.</li><li>Proven track record of building a company's external profile so that reporters proactively seek the company's POV on emerging stories.</li><li>Deep media relations experience with strong existing relationships across relevant trade and business outlets.</li><li>Demonstrated excellence in executive communications and ghostwriting, with a portfolio of op-eds, bylines, speeches, or thought leadership content authored for senior leaders.</li><li>Hands-on experience leading crisis or issue communications, including planning, decision-making, and post-mortem/learning processes.</li><li>Strong understanding of B2B2C dynamics in healthcare or benefits - how employers, payers, benefit consultants, and consumers influence buying decisions.</li><li>Exceptional writing and editing skills: clear, concise, persuasive, and adaptable across formats.</li><li>Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple storylines and stakeholders at once.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience leading communications for a digital health category builder for employer-focused health solution.</li><li>Track record of building or scaling a communications function from scratch at an early-stage or scaling company.</li><li>Experience working closely with CEOs, CMOs, clinicians, and scientific/medical experts to translate complex concepts into accessible narratives.</li><li>Global or multi-market PR experience.</li><li>Prior experience leading or mentoring communications or social media talent.</li><li>Background that shows you are considered one of the top up-and-coming PR and comms leaders in the digital health ecosystem (e.g., notable campaigns, speaking, awards, or peer recognition).</li></ul> Compensation: Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package.
