Responsible for ensuring excellent quality of food service and positive guest experience.<ul><li>Greets guests, takes orders, and delivers food and beverages</li><li>Makes alcoholic drinks for the dining rooms and to serve customers in the bar area; checks identification</li><li>Balances cash receipts</li><li>Cleans glasses, utensils, and bar equipment</li><li>Performs portioning and inventory control to prepare a variety of foods, garnishes and all ingredients required for preparing dishes on the menu</li><li>Dishwashing</li><li>Registers guests, assigns rooms, collects payments and answers the phone</li><li>Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel and Restaurant</li><li>Delivers service items to guest rooms</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>No previous related experience required</li><li>Must have effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in the operation of a personal computer to include Microsoft applications</li><li>Responsible for total guest experience and satisfaction</li><li>Multitasking in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment required</li><li>Ability to interact positively with the public essential to success</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>May be hiring for full-time and/or part-time positions based upon business needs</li><li>Positions may be located at Conoco, Bowling Alley, and/or Motel</li><li>Must be willing and able to work alternative work schedules that may vary depending on business needs (days, nights, weekends, holidays, scheduled/unscheduled overtime)</li><li>Experience working with a cash register, taking payment and making accurate change</li><li>Ability to balance a cash drawer</li><li>Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment</li><li>Food Handler's Certification</li><li>High School diploma or GED</li></ul>Criteria/Conditions<ul><li>Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English</li><li>Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards</li><li>Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment</li><li>These responsibilities require the ability to walk for extended periods of time</li><li>Ability to climb stairs, ladders, lift up to fifty (50) lbs or more, kneel, push, pull, reach, bend, twist, and stoop on a frequent basis</li><li>Ability to work in all types of environments to include noise, exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity</li><li>Willing and able to work a 12-hour shift schedule or other shift as assigned</li><li>Ability to share job responsibilities and be flexible with work schedule and start times</li><li>Ability to participate in a high performing team environment</li><li>Ability to communicate and interact with other teams</li><li>Must attend alcohol training class and understand the law, rules and regulations for the State of Arizona</li><li>Must attend training class for safe food handling procedures</li><li>Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/ alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing</li></ul>What We Offer YouThe estimated pay range for this role is currently$15.50 - $20.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
