Researching, analyzing, and summarizing legal precedents, preparing legal digests, processing debt collection claims referred by client agencies, and making decisions regarding debt compromise, write-offs, and referrals back to originating agencies. Job Duties: Preparing substantive legal documents such as motions, writs of execution, garnishments, and other legal filings necessary to carry out post-judgment debt collection actions for debts owed to the United States Government.
