You will be responsible for running residential groups and implementing effective treatment plans for clients in individual and group settings in person or virtually. Our community will offer a total of 24 rooms for residential behavioral health located in Madison, SD. Our mission is to pave a new path in the recovery world by focusing on "real recovery"-a transformative process that goes beyond traditional models. We understand that true recovery involves not just the cessation of substance use but a fundamental change in one's overall well-being and quality of life. For more information, please check out our website: <a href="https://www.turningpointbehavioralhealth.com/" rel="nofollow">Turning Point Behavioral Health | Turn Your Life Around, For Good</a>.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields (residential/inpatient/outpatient experience preferred)</li><li style="line-height:normal">Licensed as LAC, CAC, ACT, LPCC, or LICSW in the state of South Dakota.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Proficient in ASAM </li><li style="line-height:normal">Experience in conflict resolution.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Compassionate and caring demeanor</li><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to build rapport with clients.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li style="line-height:normal">Works well in a team setting.</li></ul>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Counsel and advise individuals or groups with substance abuse problems.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Documentation and Compliance.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Develop and implement individual treatment plans.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Conduct AOD Evaluations</li><li style="line-height:normal">Provide direct counseling in a residential setting.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Conduct and submit timely paperwork.</li></ul>HME Care is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
