EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEMust have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical degree, proven experience in reading AWS and Military weld specifications, proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), minimum of 3 years of experience in using CAD software, preferably ProE/Creo, able to interpret and communicate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, cross functional team resolution of production fit and form issues, bill of material errors, and manufacturing routing changes using root cause analysis tools. Development and maintenance of manufacturing processes which include: weld, metal finish, light assembly, painting/coating, and various inspection processes to meet internal and customer specificationsPreparation, review, approval and release of written welding procedures in accordance with specifications and welding qualifications.
