What began with a single clamshell dredge and a horse and wagon has evolved into a large-scale production and trucking business with several plants in the Omaha metro area along Nebraska’s Platte River.  Position OverviewThe Loader Operator is responsible for but not limited to general housekeeping, filling and maintaining aggregate bins or piles, stacking product, loading and unloading product following established policies and procedures. This position involves the maintenance and operation of conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, and the operation of a front-end loader, for the purpose of loading aggregate materials. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)<ul><li style="line-height:115%;background-color:white">Operate a straight or articulated rubber-tire tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage/aggregate piles or bins to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes.</li><li style="line-height:115%;background-color:white">Operate a loader and other equipment under minimum supervision performing duties independently with only general direction given.</li><li style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;background-color:white">Inspect loader as required at the start and end of each workday, completing the pre and post inspection sheet which indicates that all systems are functioning properly. </li><li style="line-height:115%;background-color:white">Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as adding air to tires, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.</li><li style="line-height:115%;background-color:white">Load haul trucks, load customer trucks, feed portable plant, stockpile materials and load bins.</li><li style="line-height:115%;background-color:white">Complete Equipment Inspection Report/Checklist as necessary and report any necessary repairs to supervisor as needed. </li><li style="line-height:115%;background-color:white">Create and maintain inclines and ramps to excavated materials.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background-color:white">Assist with general plant housekeeping and upkeep. Help facilitate the cleanliness of the mining site and plant daily.</li><li style="text-align:justify;background-color:white">Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.
