Own the DOT and FMCSA compliance program, including regulatory applicability, driver qualification files, commercial driver's license requirements, hours-of-service and electronic logging obligations where applicable, drug and alcohol testing coordination, vehicle inspection and maintenance records, annual reviews, required filings, audit readiness, and corrective actions. Demonstrated, hands-on experience owning or administering a DOT/FMCSA compliance program for a commercial fleet, including driver qualification files, vehicle inspection and maintenance records, hours-of-service requirements where applicable, regulatory reporting to cover various state and federal requirements, audit preparation, and corrective-action follow-through.
