This role drives safe, efficient, and customerfocused execution by leading people, optimizing processes, and delivering results in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Plant Operations Leader, this position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable shipping performance, strong inventory control, and continuous improvement across 24/7 operations. Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership<ul><li>Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture where safety is priority. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all plant and rolespecific safety policies, procedures, and standards. </li><li>Proactively identify, investigate, and address safety concerns while maintaining a clean, organized, and environmentally compliant workplace. </li><li> </li></ul>Operational Excellence & Process Ownership<ul><li>Own daily logistics, warehouse, shipping, and box building operations to ensure ontime delivery, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Develop, implement, and manage inventory control strategies, workload planning, and shift schedules to meet production and shipping demands. </li><li>Oversee SAP transactions and systems to maintain data integrity and operational accuracy. </li><li>Anticipate operational risks and lead business continuity planning, including documentation of critical processes. </li><li> </li></ul>People Leadership & Team Performance<ul><li>Lead and develop a team of approximately 30 employees, including areas operating 24/7/365. </li><li>Establish clear expectations, performance metrics, and accountability to drive results. </li><li>Build team capability through training systems focused on safety, skill flexibility (polyvalency), and engagement. </li><li>Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports teamwork, development, and continuous improvement. </li><li> </li></ul>Continuous Improvement & Customer Focus<ul><li>Drive productivity, quality, and efficiency improvements aligned with TPM principles. </li><li>Maintain high product quality standards, targeting zero shipping errors and leading rootcause problem solving when issues occur. </li><li>Partner crossfunctionally with customer service, transportation, sales, and regional planning teams. </li><li>Maintain strong working relationships with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders. </li><li> </li></ul>QualificationsExperience<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or a related industrial environment. </li><li>Prior people leadership experience strongly preferred. </li><li>Experience making highimpact decisions in a fastpaced, operational setting. </li><li>Working knowledge of SAP preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with TPM or continuous improvement systems is a plus. </li><li> </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<ul><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety through daily actions and leadership behaviors. </li><li>Strong operational and processownership mindset. </li><li>Effective communicator capable of aligning teams to daily goals and priorities. </li><li>Analytical and datadriven problem solver. </li><li>Ability to manage change across multiple functions. </li><li>Customerfocused leader who mentors and develops others. </li><li> </li></ul>About Owens Corning Owens Corning is a residential and commercial building products leader committed to building a sustainable future through material innovation. Job Summary Job Description Arrange efficient, cost effective quality transportation on time to our customers while complying with all rules and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Schedule transportation / Book carrier for customer shipments</li><li>Update shipment information in customer portal</li><li>Review intercompany purchase orders against shipments</li><li>Arrange transportation for expedite shipments</li><li>Arranging export shipments, completing commercial invoice and appropriate reports</li><li>Track incoming shipments and communicate</li><li>Responsible for making timely, accurate traffic decisions with internal departments for all imports and export shipments.</li><li>Develop and properly maintain all files, documents, and records to support all regulatory audit criteria.</li><li>Review and audit freight bills and analyze costs, quality, and delivery for continuous improvements.
