GENERAL PURPOSE: Under the direction of Executive Director of Infrastructure and Asset Management (IAM), the Executive Project Director- Series 3 Light Rail Vehicles provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and overall accountability for Sound Transit's Series 3 Light Rail Vehicle Program, including procurement, design review, manufacturing oversight, testing, commissioning, acceptance, operational readiness, and integration into the regional light rail system. Ten years of experience in rail vehicle procurement, rail transportation, engineering, manufacturing, program management, transit operations, asset management, construction management, systems integration, or related fields involving responsibility for large, complex capital programs or transportation infrastructure projects or an equivalent.
