The care may include, but is not limited to, the following: obtaining and recording in the medical record: blood pressure, pulse, temperature and pulse oximetry, drawing blood, EKG, administration of oral medications, transporting patients, obtain urine and stool specimens, perform point of care testing, assist with procedures consistent with the scope of the employee's position (i.e. dressing changes, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulating, transferring, observing, and reporting the general well-being of the person(s) to whom they are providing care). Maintains competency in specialized testing for Occupational Health (Hearing Booth, Fit testing, Titmus, PFT, Ishahara, Drug screen collections, Breath Alcohol Testing, DS Hair Collections and any other required testing.)Maintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established for the practice.
