Supervise the monitoring of medications: obtain orders from Provider, place all orders in EMR system, verify all medications brought in, confirm medication counts weekly, order medications as needed including PRN medications, and approve PRN medications according to Provider’s parameters. The RN or LPN is responsible for assessing patient health problems, administering nursing care to patients, maintaining vital medical records, implementing nursing care plans, and advising patients on health maintenance.
