Job Responsibilities: -Understands the Epic system which allows them to effectively review, verify, and prioritize orders using the chart to ensure medications prescribed are the appropriate dose, frequency and administration times; drug allergies, drug-drug interactions, drug-disease and incompatibilities are avoided. -Prioritizes and monitors daily operational duties in assigned areas using support personnel in the most effective manner, including coordination of break and lunch (dinner), to ensure patient care services are maintained.
