Demonstrated Expertise architecting workflow‑ and event‑driven integrations, including Pega and mainframe event streaming via Kafka, secure REST and SOAP/XML services across z/OS Connect EE, Spring Boot, and Pega with OAuth2/JWT; and optimizing performance across CICS, DB2, batch, APIs, and Pega UI using targeted caching and tuning strategies (Spring Cache, Redis, Pega caching, CICS data tables, DB2 buffer pools). Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing mainframe software development and analysis in financial services applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
