Responsibilities: Diagnose, maintain, and repair major drive train, HVAC, and brake system components on tractors and trailersPerform advanced diagnostics on engine, drive train, and communication systems using technical and electronic equipmentMaintain and repair tires, including installing and dismounting tires, and perform advanced axle alignmentsProvide preventative maintenance on brake system components, including adjustment or replacementComplete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established proceduresCommunicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writingPerform 8-point inspection on yard and over-the-road tractors according to written proceduresIdentify and perform warrantable repairs by entering accurate information on the condition, cause, and correction into the maintenance system, completing warranty tags as needed, and ensuring parts are retained according to warranty guidelines and creating and processing warranty claims to ensure proper credit is received according to company guidelines Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cummins Insite Diagnostic Link, Wabco Toolbox, Bendix ACom Diagnostics, and other OEM softwareKnowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skills Company Culture: We are committed to creating a culture of belonging, where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
