<h5>Maintenance Manager </h5><p>Must have kiln processing experience </p><p>Job Overview: </p><p>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our mining and minerals facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing andexecuting maintenance programs, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and ensuring plant equipment is reliable and productive. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in industrial maintenance management. </p><h5>Key Responsibilities: </h5><ul><li>Serve as a role model for safety, health, environmental, and production standards by complying with all company policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for plant repairs and unplanned equipment breakdowns, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. </li><li>Support Production in identifying weekly maintenance priorities and plan equipment downtime accordingly. </li><li>Develop and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and maximize equipment life cycles. </li><li>Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, including work orders, check-off lists, workplace exams, and safety/toolbox meetings. </li><li>Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to design and execute process improvement projects and new equipment installations. </li><li>Develop, plan, and manage plant maintenance budgets, CAPEX budgets, and improvement projects, making recommendations for annual maintenance and capital expenditures. </li><li>Establish goals and a roadmap for the Maintenance Department to promote team member growth and development. </li><li>Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, spare parts inventory, and critical spares. </li><li>Provide regular reports to upper management on maintenance performance, equipment status, and upcoming activities. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations (e.g., MSHA) and create a secure, safe working environment. </li><li>Be available for on-call shifts, emergencies, and planned shutdowns as required. </li><li>Training others and growing skillsets. </li><li>Oversee and control maintenance budget. </li></ul><h5>Qualifications: </h5><p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). </p><p>5+ years of plant maintenance experience, including supervisory/leadership responsibilities. </p><p><strong>Experience in cement, lime, or other heavy industrial environments required</strong>. </p><ul><li>Proven ability to manage direct reports and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills. </li><li>Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance software (preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance for lime and minerals processing and rotating equipment (e.g., crushers, kilns, conveyors). </li></ul>
