Other Duties and Responsibilities:Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with County policies, procedures, and safety policies,Creates, maintains and files required work order and other maintenance records,Performs inventory control duties, and orders cleaning and other needed supplies from vendors through established purchasing practices and venues,Assists with completing and documenting periodic (weekly, monthly, annual) preventative maintenance schedules,Assists with employee safety programs and initiatives,Assists with monitoring work projects performed by inmate and community service crews,May be assigned basic bookkeeping duties and monitoring of receivables and expenses,May be called outside of typical work hours to respond to emergency facility situations, and Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or necessary to accomplish County and department objectives. Indoor Maintenance:Assists with responding to and completing maintenance and repair requests, Assists with scheduled maintenance, repair, and installation work on electrical, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems,Assists with construction work and painting on County buildings, including remodel projects, Performs maintenance and janitorial work in restrooms and assists in cleaning spills as needed.
