Qualifications: Education/Certification: Valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) journeyman HVAC Class B license Clear and valid Texas driver's license EPA Refrigerant certification Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work independently Experience: Five years' experience in commercial kitchen appliance repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and refrigeration/HVAC service repair Major Responsibilities and Duties: Maintenance and Repair Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of HVAC and commercial food service equipment and appliances including, but not limited to, coolers and freezers, food cookers, heaters and warmers, all oven types, dishwashers, food waste disposers, mixing and cutting equipment, ice machines, clothes washers and dryers, exhaust ventilation systems, heat exchangers, boilers, air conditioning and heating systems, and chillers.
