Ability and skill in performing duties associated with the following functions: rigging practices used when lifting equipment with overhead hoists and cranes; proper millwright practices of setting, leveling and coupling equipment; shop fabrication of guards, ducts and machinery basics; proper plumbing practices used when running water, gas and air lines; and basic carpentry practices. Ability to safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, cutting and welding equipment, hand saw, chop saw, drill press, bench grinders, hydraulic iron worker, hydraulic press, forklifts, hyster carry crane, trucks, rigging for cranes, and overhead hoists.
