Plans, supervises, coordinates, and monitors building maintenance and custodial services; supervises maintenance and repairs of structural and architectural elements, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, built-in furniture, moveable furnishings and equipment, cabinetry, valves, pumps, fixed laboratory equipment, doors, windows, walls, ceilings, floors, sprinklers, and alarm systems. Maintains construction drawings, maintenance and operating manuals, equipment condition and performance logs, preventive maintenance and repair histories, and outside service contractor performance and schedules.
