Your key responsibilities will be: Develop inspection and maintenance plans for static equipment, targeting damage mechanisms based on criticality, Design preventive maintenance tasks for rotating equipment, targeting failure modes based on criticality, Provide leadership and technical expertise to solve complex operating and reliability challenges, Offer technical guidance and support to less-experienced engineers and maintenance team members, Use root cause analysis and failure analysis techniques to eliminate recurring equipment issues, Work closely with Millwrights and Maintenance Technicians to review and correct findings from root cause analysis, vibration analysis, oil analysis, and other monitoring activities, Lead annual audits focused on maintenance optimization and asset integrity improvement, Identify capital needs related to asset integrity and support long-term capital planning, Maintain a strong understanding of the history and current condition of static equipment, Participate in the development of best practices to ensure asset integrity and reliability, Coordinate and participate in inspections of static equipment, Lead responses to leaks, failures, and asset integrity issues related to static equipment, Lead or participate in the scoping and implementation of small to large capital projects, Participate in turnaround scope reviews, inspections, and criticality assessments of unexpected findings, Communicate with insurance partners regarding asset integrity, inspection, and maintenance needs as required. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred, Strong knowledge of engineering principles, process and product technology, and chemical manufacturing environments, Solid understanding of process safety management, root cause analysis, and failure analysis techniques, Advanced knowledge of maintenance, reliability, asset integrity, and mechanical engineering principles, Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather data, analyze findings, and draw well-reasoned conclusions, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly, Proven ability to influence actions, mindsets, and decisions across different teams and levels of the organization, Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, Ability to manage and implement change initiatives and lead engineering or maintenance-related projects.
