What your day-to-day as a Maintenance Mechanic IV at Fermilab will look like: Respond, troubleshoot, and complete service work orders and emergency equipment repair work by repairing, maintaining, servicing and operating heating, cooling, and ventilating equipment, Industrial Cooling Water (ICW) and Low Conductivity Water (LCW) systems, domestic water and sewer systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, air heat exchangers, plumbing, and surface water systems. Fermilab employees, and certain guest researchers and contractors, are subject to particular restrictions related to participation in Foreign Government Sponsored or Affiliated Activities, as defined and detailed in United States Department of Energy Order 486.1A.
