This position requires a thorough knowledge of the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, power distribution, and instrumentation systems; thorough knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process, operation of Pure Oxygen Plant; general knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions required in the work; general knowledge of tools, equipment, automation, and materials needed to perform effectively in electrical and electronic tasks; thorough knowledge of methods, practices, and procedures in electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repair work; ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, and schematics; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms; ability to diagnose improper operation of equipment or devices and to take proper corrective or remedial action; ability to complete records and reports; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, engineers, regulatory agency representatives, and associates. The position requires the following: Associates/Technical degree in electronics, electrical instrumentation, computerized controls, or related field and minimal experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
