WORKING CONDITIONS: Incumbent performs duties in facilities and grounds involving exposure to dust, slippery surfaces, electricity, power tools, and machinery, occasionally to adverse weather, noisy environment, confined areas, wears protective clothing and equipment, work with or exposed to irate/hostile individuals, working in high places, such as on roofs and ladders, and responds to situations involving potential physical harm to self and others. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Incumbent physically performs essential duties of the position in outdoors or garage/shop, including exerting sustained physical effort, bending, crouching/kneeling, reaching, handling/grasping/fingering objects, standing/walking for long periods, climbing ladders, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects weighing over 50 pounds and work in inclement weather for sustained periods of time.
