The responsibilities of an EHS Coordinator include but are not limited to maintaining the Safety, Health Management Systems (SHMS); Interacting with all division teammates to ensure plant understanding of and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; Developing, organizing, and delivering safety training; Monitoring contractor safety programs/performance, workers’ compensation and industrial health program; Participating in Division and company safety activities, initiatives and audits; Reviewing, developing and authoring safety, equipment, and operating policies/procedures and managing plant security. Nucor Towers & Structures (NTS) has an opening for the position of EHS Coordinator to support site EHS initiatives within a heavy manufacturing environment, including galvanizing operations for the New Ross, IN facility.
