Must be able to detect, report and make repairs to defective machinery and equipment; The Maintenance I Entry Level position conducts machine set-up, troubleshoots machine malfunctions, repairs and performs preventive maintenance of the machinery and equipment utilized in the production of the various JELD-WEN products. Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician performs work of moderate difficulty in the various skilled trades, including, but not limited to, machine maintenance and repair, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, electrical and plant layout, inside and outside of the various JELD-WEN production plants and facilities.
