Additionally, the specialist serves as the Alternate Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program Manager and the DIU Site Security Control Officer (SSCO), responsible for conducting senior-level briefings, performing security inspections, and managing technical access systems such as DISS and SIPRNet to ensure the protection of Department of War assets and mission continuity.
