This position is a midlevel maintenance technician responsible for performing skilled mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment in a USDA regulated meat processing environment. Job Requirements: - Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years training and/or experience in a range of major system repairs; including, but not limited to heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general construction or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Included are the inspection of fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers, and report all inspection outcomes in writing to the Facilities Manager.
