Supervising- Oversee general operations of assigned store; supervise store employees, including scheduling and organizing employees and work; providing clear direction; training, developing and motivating employees; enforcing company policies and safety requirements; monitoring productivity; conducting performance evaluations and resolving conflict in a timely manner; review and approve employee time entry, ensuring employees follow posted work schedules and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked. Financial responsibility- Understand and manage store finances and profitability; control shortages and other expenses; prepare for and participate in cash, lottery, cigarettes and general inventory audits, investigating results and planning for improvement; meet or exceed company goals for sales and controllable expenses; perform loss control functions related to cash handling, lottery sales and redemptions, food waste, employee purchases, merchandise sales, etc.
