Services provided by EVS include: Carpet cleaning; floor cleaning and buffing, floor stripping and re-finishing, trash removal, biohazardous waste removal, recycling, clean linen distribution, soiled linen removal, operating room (OR) cleaning between cases, OR terminal cleaning, 24/7 cleaning of the Emergency Department (ED) and Fast Track, office area cleaning, 24/7 restroom cleaning and re-checks, pest control, building exterior window washing, reusable sharps program, bed and crib management, confidential document destruction, and cubicle curtain cleaning. Summary: This position is responsible for administering the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Environmental Services (EVS) department of the Facilities & Real Estate (F&RE) division in order to provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment of care for the patients, families, physicians, and staff.
