<div><strong>Position Summary:</strong><em><br/></em>The EOCC Assembly technician is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and disassembly operations using hand tools, power tools, fixturing and work instructions to ensure components and equipment are accurately rebuilt to specification. This role requires the ability to interpret and follow product prints, technical drawings and detailed assembly documentation. This position operates within a production line environment where each process feeds into or support the next operation. Precision, quality and adherence to safety and process standards are critical to success in this role. <br/><br/>Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm. This position might require flexibility to work overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.  <br/><br/></div><div><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Follow detailed disassembly and assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Disassembles and assembles components by utilizing hand and power tools.</li><li>Cleans and buffs components.</li><li>Wash components in solvent and run parts through parts washer.</li><li>Blowout parts to remove solvent and dirt.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.</li><li>Make sure that schedules are running exactly as they are listed.</li><li>Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).</li><li>Turn off equipment when not in use.</li><li>Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>Gathering new components for assembly as a separate process.</li><li>Assisting other workstations such as leak test, paint preparation</li><li>Must be willing to cross train</li><li>Follow safety protocols and adhere to all PPE requirements</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><div> <br/><strong>Minimum Qualifications and requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) </strong></div><ul><li>High school degree or equivalent preferred</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of the basic use of specialized equipment & hand tools.</li><li>Knowledge of basic mechanics, hand tools, and machine testing procedures<strong> </strong></li><li> Preferred: 1+ year of experience performing mechanical jobs, assembly and disassembly.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:    </strong>    </div><ul><li>Must have: Be able to identify & understand use of specific hand, pneumatic and, power tools.</li><li>Preferred: Mechanical training (votech or previous job experience) a plus but not required.</li><li>Nice to have: Able to correctly use & read analog & digital measuring devices.  Micrometers, indicators, calipers.</li><li>Basic computer skills are a plus but not required</li><li>Communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Problem solving</li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently in English. </li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>Physical Demands:</strong><em></em>(The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee <strong>to successfully perform the essential functions of this job</strong>.
