What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Provide electrical support services utilizing and/or complying with the following:<ul><li>MIL-STD-2003B. Listed below are other equivalent standards for different aspects of electrical product development.</li><li>Electrical Assembly, Soldering, Ball Grid Array, Enclosure Fabrication, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) modification.</li><li>Surface Mount Technology and Development.</li><li>Soldering (in accordance with J-STD-001H, Class 3).</li><li>PCB Board Development using Altium, Solid Works PCB, Eagle, Ki-Cad or equivalent.</li><li>PCB Assembly (in accordance with IPC-A-610H, Class 3).</li><li>PCB Boards (in accordance with IPC-A-600J).</li><li>Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) trained and certified in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021, DIN EN 61340-5-1:2017 or equivalent.</li><li>Perform Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis (SPICE) simulations on electronic designs.</li><li>Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies (in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620D, Class 3).</li><li>Insulation resistance testing for cable harnesses in accordance with MIL-STD-202H, Method 302 and IPC/WHMA-A-620D.</li><li>Continuity testing for cable harnesses in accordance with MIL-STD-202H, Method 303 and IPC/WHMA-A-620D.</li><li>Junction Box & Cable Harness Assembly LCAC100 specific. To include crimping: MIL-STD-2003B Method 5A-4 and Soldering: MIL-STD-2003B Method 5A-6.</li><li>Terminal Lug Installation: MIL-STD-2003B Method 1A-5-1.</li><li>Electrical Technician certified to MIL-STD-2003B.</li><li>Electrical drawings in accordance with MIL-STD-31000B or equivalent.</li><li>SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical 3D, SolidWorks Schematic and or equivalent for drawing/design documentation.</li></ul></li><li>Perform depot level repair on identified unique C4N Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) or other electronic components.</li><li>Performed repairs in accordance with the baseline configuration of the item under repair; and ensure documentation produced is complete, correct, and satisfy the requirements. Examples include activities such as:<ul><li>Repair and package circuit cards or electronic components as Ready For Issue (RFI) assets.</li><li>Provide redlines or corrections to build books, work instructions, drawings or other reference documentation, if required.</li><li>Solder at a level equivalent to or greater than the Navy Miniature, Microminiature (2M) Electronic Repair Program.</li><li>Troubleshoot, assess, and repair electronic and ancillary equipment on the LCAC, both legacy and current.</li><li>Work with limited supervision on all jobs assigned including Grooms, Technical Assists, Repairs, and Refurbishments.</li><li>Set up, operate and train others in the use of system required test equipment.</li><li>Perform complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electromechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment.</li><li>Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal instructions.</li><li>Conducting complex engineering tests to collect design data or assist in general research work.</li><li>Diagnose and isolate equipment and system malfunctions that fail to respond to standard corrective measures.</li><li>Assist in the development of electronic equipment.</li><li>Repair or modify cables and equipment returned by operational users or by personnel in the associated test and development laboratories.</li></ul></li><li>Bid and proposal support if requested.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

What We're Looking For:
<p style="margin:0px"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>An <strong>active</strong> secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.</li><li>HS Diploma required.</li><li>Eight (8) years of experience supporting marine or aircraft projects.</li><li>Experience in soldering at a level equivalent to or greater than the Navy Miniature, Microminiature (2M) Electronic Repair Program.</li><li>Experience in performing complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electromechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test.</li><li>Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills. </li><li>Must possess strong time management skills. </li><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.</li><li>Travel Required ~10% travel required. </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</li></ul><p style="margin:0px"><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p style="margin:0px">Prior experience with NSWC Panama City Division.</p></li><li><p style="margin:0px">Familiarity with Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) High Speed Littoral Connectors, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Navigation (C4N) technologies.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. <br/></li><li><p style="margin:0px">The ability to operate heavy machinery and industrial tools with limited to no supervision.
