Summary of Role: The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and direct all activities for the marketing department and to increase/maintain census through the sales process. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities: Marketing and Sales Functions: <ul><li> Develop, maintain, and implement a marketing plan incorporating sales goals to attract new residents to the property. Identify new and potential referral sources and develop productive relationships. </li><li> Participates in the planning and implementation of marketing events designed to drive referrals, enhance community awareness and recognition within the market area. </li><li> Align with sales goals by managing prospects and leads through the sales process from general inquiries through resident move-in. </li><li> Develop and maintain a database of community contacts for the campus. </li><li> Represents the facility at community and professional events on and off site to educate and inform the participants on the facility's capabilities and product offerings. </li><li> With facility leadership, establish effective public relations programs as needed. </li><li> Maintain weekly productivity goals to achieve the number of leads and deposits. </li><li> Must be able to work flexible hours as needed which may exceed 40 hours per week and may include nights/weekends. </li></ul>Budget and Planning Functions: <ul><li> Assist in preparing and planning the department's budget and submit to the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing and Executive Director for review, recommendations, and approval. </li><li> Maintain current written records of department expenditures and ensure that adequate financial records and costs reports are submitted to the Executive Director upon request or as necessary. </li><li> Manage marketing inventory and stay within the projected budget at all times. </li></ul>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <ul><li> Possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. </li><li> Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. </li><li> Must be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility. </li><li> Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families. </li></ul>Education and Experience: <ul><li> Prefer bachelor degree and/or 3 years experience in Sales and Marketing. </li><li> Prefer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook) and sales and marketing tools. </li></ul>Licensing/Certifications: <ul><li> None. </li></ul>WHO WE ARE: INSERT FACILITY INFORMATION SUMMARY OF ROLE: The Sales & Marketing Director plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home.
