Electrical systems may include power distribution equipment, switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, motors, variable frequency drives, generators, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptible power supplies, process equipment, chemical feed equipment, control panels, instrumentation power and wiring, and related electrical systems. Under the direction of the Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the Utilities Master Electrician performs, coordinates, and provides technical oversight for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and modification of electrical systems and equipment associated with City water treatment and other related Utilities facilities.
