Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required Advanced electrical expertise, including NEC compliance, blueprint interpretation, wiring schedules, and complex calculations (conductor sizing, load analysis, etc.) Technical aptitude and experience in electrical installations, alterations & repairs, manual labor and using industry specific tools required Preferred background in at least two of the following areas: Building science and envelope design Weatherization or related fields Home inspection HVAC installation, lighting, controls, or renewable energy Smart home technology and smart device applications Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Must have and maintain Master Electrician certificate for the state of Washington Strong customer service and communication skills both verbal and written with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues Expertise in NEC compliance, blueprint reading, wiring schedules, and advanced electrical calculations including box and conduit fill and load analysis Ability to define and lead training support needed for all program staff working under the electrical license Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload Skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and interpreting electrical code intent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Reliable transportation Committed to diversity and inclusion Travel Requirements Willingness to travel up to 95% Travel within the Pacific Northwest or other areas of the country for training and team meetings Occasional weekend travel may be required .
