Position Summary: Responsible for handling all types of materials coming in and going out, within or near plant, yard, or work site; performs a combination of duties such as, receiving from tracks, manually handling items by operating forklift, Hi-Lo, cart or hand truck, verifies data, and quantities, weights, secures loads, distributes and assure that material handling is being done accordingly to the necessary documentation or instruction including but not limited to work order, verbal instructions or other form of instruction. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, from and onto or to trucks and/or, onto or from pallets, trays, racks or shelves, performing any combination of following duties: Reads work order and related production/material documents including schedules or follows verbal instructions or other form of instruction to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
