Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler [Forklift Operator]. Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today! Responsibilities <ul><li>Receive, select, and load materials </li><li>Operate forklift safely and efficiently </li><li>Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading </li><li>Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers </li><li>Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily </li><li>Maintain clean working area </li><li>Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance) </li><li>Perform daily safety checks on forklifts </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Basic: <ul><li>High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience </li><li>Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions </li><li>Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions </li><li>Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw </li></ul></li><li>Preferred: <ul><li>Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance) </li><li>Familiarity with building materials </li><li>Able to measure and calculate material lengths </li></ul></li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>High traffic warehouse and yard </li><li>Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions </li></ul>About Boise Cascade Boise Cascade has been in the business of manufacturing wood products and distributing building materials for over half a century.
