The Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician will strive to provide proficient, competent care while ensuring accurate results.    	Responsibilities for the Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician<ol><li>Performing a variety of tasks to ensure incoming orders are logged into the inventory system and stocked in the appropriate location.</li><li> Transporting supplies to and from the off‐site warehouse.</li><li> Communicating to supervisor when inventory falls below designated par levels.</li><li> Unloading and putting away inventory and delivering freight when it arrives.</li><li> Filling orders from the Facilities as requested.</li><li> Transporting materials to other HHER facilities as needed.</li><li> Utilizing the digital inventory system anytime supplies are used or moved.</li><li> Maintaining proper rotation of stock by pull and stock lines.</li><li> Communicating to the supervisor as levels of use change to ensure proper stock for the ER's.</li><li> Communicating with the supervisor when equipment or systems are not working properly or of any safety hazards.</li><li> Maintaining effective communication with management, dispatchers, and other employees to ensure the highest level of operational performance.</li></ol>Requirements and Qualifications for the Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician<ul><li>Ability to listen and follow instructions.</li><li>Displays integrity and honesty.</li><li>Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness.</li><li>Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of the department.</li><li>Comfortable with the use of technology in the workplace.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ pounds.</li><li>Attention to detail and a high degree of organization.</li><li>Demonstrated competency of Physical Assessment within 90 days, as evaluated by Supervisor.</li><li>Must be over the age of 18.</li><li>To move quickly but effectively to meet needs.</li><li>Clean criminal and driving record.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Ability to read, speak, and write in the English language.</li><li>Valid Driver's License.</li></ul>Pay & Benefits <ul><li>Night shift differential</li><li>401K with company match</li><li>Additional benefits for full-time employees</li></ul>Job description statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job title. Compliance & Performance Improvement Program Guidelines: All Staff must adhere to guidelines established under the CPI Program including performance improvement functions assigned by the Chief Executive Officer that relate to the adoption of and adherence to Center Policies and Procedures. Key duties include loading/unloading trucks, operating pallet jacks, maintaining inventory records, and preparing orders for disbursement.

Position SummaryA Materials Handler is responsible for the efficient, safe movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the Materials Department and other storage areas. Key duties include loading/unloading trucks, operating pallet jacks, maintaining inventory records, and preparing orders for disbursement. Helps ensure workflows remain efficient by organizing inventory, packing, and verifying materials. Materials Handler also performs inventory counts. This is a part time position.  Minimum Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Previous experience in a materials handling/warehouse environment (medical setting preferred)</li><li>Requires a valid Texas Driver's License, appropriate driving record and auto liability insurance that meets the minimum required by State of Texas statute.</li></ul> Essential Functions<ul><li>Position will receive, check in, unpack and distribute incoming deliveries for department pickup or delivery.</li><li>Load, unload, and move materials to and from designated storage areas, loading areas, and delivery destinations.</li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and verify material codes, quantities, and lot numbers.</li><li>Safely operate tools such as hand trucks, rolling carts, and pallet jacks, including performing pre-use inspections.</li><li>Pick, pack, and load products for delivery, ensuring proper documentation.</li><li>Delivery orders to requesting departments/clinics within the organization.</li><li>Assist in reviewing documents and data (e.g. incoming requisitions, past purchase, reconciliations, inventories,) for the purpose of ensuring completeness and accuracy of purchasing/materials process.</li><li>Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.</li><li>Carries out other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Required Skills<ul><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.</li><li>Ability to stand for periods of time.</li><li>Physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.</li><li>Reliable transportation.</li><li>Basic math.</li><li>The ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.</li><li>Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.</li></ul> Physical RequirementsRequires sitting, standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
