Facilitate professional learning communities and instructional rounds, analyze data and articulate progress across the content area, reflect on teacher practice and analyze student work (e.g., classroom video, lesson plans, student work, audio recordings, observations, teacher narratives), to plan next steps to improve teacher practice, and to reflect on student learning and growth. The Coach provides leadership and assistance in implementing the essential curriculum, analyzing formative assessment data, and conducting professional development for enhancing teaching strategies with the goal of ensuring that every teacher is delivering rigorous, grade level appropriate instruction.
