The Finance Director directs and oversees all accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, procurement, warehouse, information technology, tax, and investing functions; serves as an advisor and provides highly responsible and complex management support to the Executive Director in strategic planning and executing the long-term vision of the agency including objectives related to financial stability; assumes responsibility for safeguarding all of the Albuquerque Housing Authority's (AHA) assets through the creation, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures; ensures compliance with all GAAP, HUD, and IRS regulations and reporting requirements; and performs related duties as assigned.
