Nature's Trees, Inc.Diesel Mechanic Nature's Trees, Inc.Diesel MechanicNorthbrook, ILA typical day may include: • Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment • Coordinating repairs and maintenance with Managers and field specialists • Reviewing Vehicle Inspection Reports to prioritize work and address issues promptly • Ordering and receiving parts and supplies, completing required paperwork for the office and vendors • Training field specialists on equipment maintenance and safe vehicle operation whenever possible • Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in the shop and yard. You bring: • Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance • Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience • Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift (bucket) trucks • Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps • Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance • Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues • A valid drivers license (CDL preferred).
